Our work
We are proud of the work we do. We want you to be too. Below are some of the solutions we offer in a mix of sectors along with a few select projects delivered by Justification. Read what some of our happy customers have to say.

Flexible translation solutions
whatever your business
Cosmetics
Challenges
When shipping merchandise to markets around the globe, brands can easily want translations of product packaging, directions, product descriptions and similar content in 15 languages or more. Throw in industry-specific terminology, tight time-to-market schedules and consistency and it can be a daunting prospect.
How we can help
Translator + editor team for each target language for maximum quality
Meticulous planning to meet your tight deadlines
Glossaries and style guides to maintain consistency
Justification provides translations for several cosmetics brands and has built up a strong team of translators and transcreators who speak your target language.
Books
Challenges
The relationship between author and translator is an important one but sometimes an intermediary between the two can be a valuable asset, giving both the author and translator space to get on with their primary task. Finding the right translator who matches the author in terms of style and expertise can be tricky. Then there are fees, timings and questions to think about.
How we can help
A wide network of translators, copyeditors and proofreaders experienced in fiction and non-fiction
A testing process to find the best possible fit for the job
Project management over the course of weeks or months to keep projects on track and handle questions/issues as they arise

Art & culture
Challenges
Obscure references, terminology and figurative language pose challenges when translating art catalogues or news articles about cultural events. A screenplay can be littered with references, jokes and other elements that demands a deft hand to avoid any cultural infelicities.
How we can help
Translators and other linguists who are passionate and enthusiastic about the subjects they translate
Experts with proven experience in different types of writing who know how to research a subject to find the best solution. No quick fixes
Relationships with some of the best creative minds in the industry
Corporate
Challenges
An organisation has many moving parts that have individual translation needs. A legal office may have a licencing contract to go into Spanish, the marketing division a presentation into three languages and the comms team a press release to translate from Chinese. There could be a knowledge crossover between all projects.
How we can help
A stable of translators and other linguists specialising in legal, financial, marketing and other fields to handle projects for every department in your organisation
One port of call for all your needs: any language, any discipline, any skill
A partner who understands your business and shares this with all involved suppliers so they have the whole picture – always in the strictest of confidentiality, of course
Justification works with small businesses and large organisations. Whatever your size, we pride ourselves on the same level of care and quality.

Past work
B K Chu
Children’s book
Services:
British English proofreading
US English copyediting
French translation
Project management
Testing of Spanish and Norwegian translators for future versions
Bo recently wrote her debut children’s book in Korean and brilliantly translated it into English herself. When she was looking for a partner to handle the copyediting, proofreading and translation into other languages, a colleague recommended Justification. It soon became clear we were a good fit, both sharing a passion for language and enthusiasm to produce the best possible versions of Bo’s novel.
Within our network, we had a French translator who was also a published francophone children’s author. His style was a great match for Bo’s text and he was hired for the translation.
As a member of the Chartered Institute of Editors and Proofreaders (CIEP), Justin carried out the first proofreading of the UK version and sourced CIEP members to copyedit and proofread the US version.
The book has since been published and includes a mention of Justification in the acknowledgements, which is a real honour.
The Emilia Group
Videos for Tennis Europe Junior School
Services:
Translation and subtitling into Spanish, French and Russian
The Emilia Group is a sports media and communications agency. We worked with them recently on a subtitling project.
Subtitling is a very specific branch of translation and requires particular skills such as the art of concision, extensive cultural knowledge and attention to detail.
Justification put a team together and supplied subtitle files in different formats. The client had local contacts review the subtitles: who better than in-house experts to verify the translated content? The overall feedback was excellent and the translators implemented any improvements passed on.
The videos are now online for junior tennis players to learn a variety of topics from social media to nutrition.
QMS Medicosmetics
Packaging, marketing collateral, website and training manuals
Services:
Translation from English to Italian, French, Spanish, German, Dutch and Russian
QMS Medicosmetics came through a referral. First working with Ana based at the London office, Justification translated packaging and product directions into several languages. Ana has since recommended Justification to other entities in the group including Iconic London and the QMS Medicosmetics in the Netherlands.
For the latter, we worked on two key assets: the training manual and website into Dutch. By using the same team and applying the style guide and preferences built up over months of translating marketing collateral, Justification was able to deliver a stellar translation of both documents.
ITF – International Tennis Federation
Communications and legal
Services:
Translation from English to French and Spanish
Justification has been providing translation services to ITF since 2005. ITF has confidence in the work we do and has recommended us to various departments across the organisation.
We handle a range of documents from rules and regulations to press releases into the two other official ITF languages, French and Spanish.
We have earned a reputation for delivering excellent work in time and within budget.
